Projects and tasks

Guile and Wrike

Projects and tasks, read-only: what is open, overdue and due soon, and what the tasks and their comments say.

What Guile reads from Wrike

Guile reads the projects you choose: each task's status, assignees and dates, what the tasks say and the comments on them, and the names of the people in your account. Wrike's page may say the connection can also create and change tasks, comments and folders. Guile never does: it only reads.

How to connect Wrike

  1. In Guile, open Apps, choose Wrike and click Connect.
  2. A secure window from Pipedream (the service Guile uses to connect apps) opens and takes you to Wrike. Enter the email you use for Wrike and click Next, then enter your password.
  3. If you belong to more than one Wrike account, choose your company's account.
  4. Wrike shows what the connection asks for. The page may name Pipedream rather than Guile: that is expected. Approve it (Accept).

If something doesn't work

  • The wrong account connected. You belong to several Wrike accounts. Choose Disconnect in Guile, connect again and pick your company's account.
  • Projects are missing. Guile sees only what you can see. Ask to be added to those projects, or have someone who is connect.
  • It stops after you leave the company's account. The connection belongs to you. Have someone who is still in the account connect.
