Privacy
Guile exists on one principle: your memory belongs to you. Here is what that means in practice, in plain language. Guile is operated by Quasar Group LLC in the United States.
What we store. Your account details, your conversations, and the memory facts Guile extracts from them. In a company, also the knowledge it learns from the sources an admin connects. Every memory is visible in the app, editable, deletable, and exportable as plain files.
Who sees your messages. When you send a message, it goes to the AI provider whose model answers, and only to providers you enabled during setup. You can change which providers are enabled at any time. Every answer names the model that wrote it.
Companies. You choose what you contribute to your company's knowledge. Admins never see your private chats. Knowledge from a restricted source, such as a private Slack channel, is visible only to the people allowed to read it.
Connected apps. A company admin can connect sources such as Slack, Google Drive or HighLevel, and you can connect your own apps privately. Guile reads only what a connection allows. Credentials are encrypted before they are stored, and disconnecting an app deletes the credential Guile kept for it.
Slack. Guile reads the public channels an admin picks, and a private channel only after a member invites it and an admin turns that channel on. It answers where someone mentions it in a channel with replies turned on, and in direct messages people send it. It never reads messages between people. What it learns links back to the Slack message it came from. A direct message never becomes company knowledge.
How long we keep it. Slack messages Guile answers are kept for 30 days, and a direct message to Guile for one day. Message text held for learning is erased as soon as it becomes a source, and dropped if it cannot be learned within 14 days. Sources keep their text for 30 days so each fact can be traced back. Facts stay until someone edits or deletes them. Your account and conversations stay until you delete them.
Where it lives. In Guile's own database in the United States, encrypted at rest, with all traffic over HTTPS.
What we never do. We never sell your data, never use it to train models, and never store passwords, credentials, or payment card numbers in your memory. Payments are processed by Stripe; card details never touch our servers.
Deleting. Delete any memory or conversation in the app, or contact us to delete your entire account and everything in it. A deleted fact leaves only a hash, so Guile never learns it again.
