Guile and Read AI

Meeting reports: Read's summary, chapters, action items and key questions, who attended, and the transcript, read-only.

What Guile reads from Read AI

Guile reads your meeting reports: the title, date, who attended, Read's summary, chapters, action items, key questions and the transcript, one source per meeting, and checks for new meetings every night. It doesn't read recordings or meetings still in progress. Read AI's sign-in may also let an app send Read's notetaker to a meeting or share a report. Guile never does: it only reads.

How to connect Read AI

  1. If your company has a Read AI workspace, ask its owner or an admin to check that Workspace Settings > Reports & Sharing > Downloads is on.
  2. In Guile, open Apps and choose Read AI.
  3. Click Connect. A secure window from Pipedream (the service Guile uses to connect apps) opens. Read AI's page may name Pipedream, not Guile; that is expected.
  4. Sign in to Read AI.
  5. Read what Read AI shows and click Allow Access.

If something doesn't work

  • You signed in with your company's single sign-on and never came back to Guile: close the window and click Connect again. You're already signed in, so it goes straight to Allow Access.
  • Guile says Read AI refused it: your workspace's Downloads setting may be off. Ask your Read AI admin to turn it on.
  • Some meetings are missing: Guile reads only the reports you can open. On the Free plan, reports past your 5 a month are locked until you upgrade.
  • The connection stops after a while: click Connect again. Read AI's sign-in sometimes has to be renewed by hand.
