Projects and tasks
Guile and Airtable
The tables you choose, read-only: work with a status and an owner or due date as tasks, and the notes, comments and client names in every table.
What Guile reads from Airtable
Guile reads the bases you added: their records, the comments on them and how the tables are laid out, plus your email address. Airtable's screen lists only those reading permissions; Guile can't change anything.
How to connect Airtable
- In Guile, open Apps, choose Airtable and click Connect.
- A secure window from Pipedream (the service Guile uses to connect apps) opens and takes you to Airtable. Log in if Airtable asks. The page may name Pipedream rather than Guile: that is expected.
- Click Add a base and pick the bases Guile should read, or a whole workspace.
- Check the list and click Authorize.
If something doesn't work
- A base is missing. You didn't add it. In Airtable, click your account avatar, then Integrations > Third-party integrations, choose the connection and add the base.
- You can't add a base. Only owners and creators of a base can. Ask one of them to connect.
- Reading stops partway through the month. A Free workspace ran out of its 1,000 monthly requests. Reading starts again on the 1st, or right away on a Team plan.
