Guile and Zendesk
Support tickets, with replies and internal notes, and who is waiting on a reply, read-only.
What Guile reads from Zendesk
Guile reads your tickets and their replies, including internal notes, plus the names of the customers and organizations they're about. Zendesk's sign-in asks only to read tickets, users and organizations, and Guile only reads. (As built on 2026-10-08, Guile asks for Pipedream's read-only sign-in; the live run confirms the screen.)
How to connect Zendesk
- In Guile, open Apps and choose Zendesk.
- Click Connect. A secure window opens from Pipedream, the service Guile uses to connect apps.
- Type your Zendesk subdomain: the first part of your Zendesk web address (for example, acme in acme.zendesk.com).
- Sign in to Zendesk if it asks you to.
- Read what Zendesk shows and click Allow. Guile never sees your password.
If something doesn't work
- Check the subdomain: type only the first part, not the whole address. If your help center uses your own address (like help.acme.com), you'll find your subdomain on the Admin Center home page.
- Tickets are missing: Guile sees only the tickets the person who connected can see. Ask a Zendesk admin to connect instead.
- Zendesk opens the wrong account: sign out of Zendesk in this browser, then click Connect again.
