Shared inbox conversations, with your team's replies and internal comments, and who is waiting on a reply, read-only.
What Guile reads from Front
Guile reads conversations in your shared inboxes (messages in and out, and your team's internal comments) plus the names of the contacts and accounts they're about. It doesn't read personal inboxes. Front's approval screen may say Guile could also send, change or delete. Guile never does: it only reads.
How to connect Front
- In Guile, open Apps and choose Front.
- Click Connect. A secure window opens from Pipedream, the service Guile uses to connect apps.
- Sign in to Front with your admin account.
- Read what Front shows and click Authorize. Guile never sees your password.
If something doesn't work
- Front says you need to be an administrator: ask a Front admin to connect instead.
- The first read is slow: Front limits how fast apps can read, so a large account takes a while. Guile catches up on its own.
- Front opens the wrong account: sign out of Front in this browser, then click Connect again.
