Guile and Notion
Pages, page content, and database-page properties from your workspace.
What Guile reads from Notion
Guile reads the text of the pages you share, including the properties of database pages, but not people fields or code blocks. Notion's screen may say the connection can also change or add content. Guile never does: it only reads.
How to connect Notion
- In Guile, open Apps > Add an app and choose Connect on Notion.
- In the Pipedream window (the service Guile uses to connect apps), sign in to Notion and choose your workspace.
- Notion lists what the connection would like to do in your workspace; it names Pipedream. Choose Select pages.
- Tick the pages Guile may read (the pages inside them come along) and choose Allow access.
- Back in Guile, learning starts on the pages you shared and checks again each night.
If something doesn't work
- A page is missing: it was not shared in step 4. Open it in Notion, choose the three-dot menu at the top right > Add connections, and pick the connection (it may be named Pipedream). Or connect again and select it.
- Guile says Notion did not grant read access: connect again and choose Allow access at the end.
- Notion Enterprise: if the connection is not allowed, ask a workspace owner to allow it under Settings > Connections.
