Guile and Zoho CRM
Deals, notes, and what people write on calls, meetings, tasks and accounts, read-only.
What Guile reads from Zoho CRM
Guile reads your deals, notes, calls, meetings and tasks, and the descriptions on deals and accounts, plus pipeline, stage and owner names. Zoho's screen says the app can also create, change and delete records. Guile never does: it only reads.
How to connect Zoho CRM
- In Guile, open Apps > Add an app and choose Connect on Zoho CRM.
- In the Pipedream window (the service Guile uses to connect apps), continue to Zoho and sign in.
- If Zoho asks which organization to use, pick your live one (not a sandbox) and choose Submit.
- Review what Zoho lists and choose Accept.
If something doesn't work
- Zoho says you don't have permission: an admin turns on Zoho CRM API Access for your profile in Setup > Security Control > Profiles.
- Notes or deals are missing: Guile sees only what the person who connected can see, and only an admin can read every note. Choose Disconnect in Guile, then connect again as an admin.
- Your Zoho account is in another region (for example zoho.eu or zoho.in) and sign-in fails: write to hello@goguile.com, since your region may not work yet.
