Proposals and forms

Guile and Typeform

Completed responses to the forms you choose, such as client intake forms and project briefs, read-only.

What Guile reads from Typeform

Guile reads the forms you pick and their completed responses. Typeform's permission screen also lets the app create, change and delete forms and delete responses. Guile never does: it only reads.

How to connect Typeform

  1. In Guile, open Apps and choose Typeform.
  2. Click Connect. A secure window opens from Pipedream, the service Guile uses to connect apps.
  3. Sign in to Typeform if it asks.
  4. Read what Typeform lists and click Accept. The page may name Pipedream rather than Guile: that is expected.
  5. Back in Guile, choose the forms about your clients' work under Sources. Each form names its workspace: choose only forms in your company's workspaces.

If something doesn't work

  • A form is missing from the list: it's in a workspace you didn't choose, or the person who connected can't open it. Choose Disconnect in Guile, then connect again as someone who can.
  • Your responses are stored in Typeform's EU data center: those accounts can't connect yet.
  • A new response isn't in Guile yet: Guile reads new responses each night, and Typeform can take half an hour to hand one to other apps.
