Guile and Docusign
Envelopes: what is out for signature, signed, declined or expired, who they went to, and the words of finished agreements with other businesses, read-only.
What Guile reads from Docusign
Guile reads your envelopes: their status, who they went to, the names of their documents, and the words of finished agreements made with other businesses. Docusign's permission screen also lets the app send and void envelopes for you. Guile never does: it only reads.
How to connect Docusign
- In Guile, open Apps and choose Docusign.
- Click Connect. A secure window opens from Pipedream, the service Guile uses to connect apps.
- Sign in to Docusign with your company account.
- Read what Docusign asks to allow and click Allow Access. The page may name Pipedream rather than Guile: that is expected.
- If you belong to more than one Docusign account, choose in Guile which one is your company's.
If something doesn't work
- You signed in with a developer account: connect again with your company's regular Docusign account.
- Envelopes are missing: Guile sees what the person who connected sent or received. Connect as the person who sends your agreements.
- Docusign says your organization blocks the app: ask your Docusign administrator to allow it.
